Central and Local SOEs Join Forces on Another Major Project in Huangpu, Annual Output to Exceed RMB 1.5 Billion

An agreement was recently signed in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, to establish the High-Performance Rubber and Plastic Sealing Products R&D and Manufacturing Base in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, marking another major industrial collaboration between central and local state-owned enterprises. 

The project will be jointly developed by Guangzhou SINOMACH Sealing Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of central SOE SINOMACH Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., and Knowledge City (Guangzhou) Investment Group Co., Ltd., a district-level state-owned enterprise. With a planned total investment of approximately RMB 900 million and a total floor area of around 110,000 square meters, the base will develop and manufacture high-performance rubber and plastic seals and critical sealing systems for strategic emerging and future industries. 

Production is expected to begin in 2027. Once operating at full capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than RMB 1.5 billion.
