New Nighttime Landmark Debuts in Huangpu, Guangzhou

A new weekend attraction has opened beside the Fuxu Ancient Canal in Huangpu, Guangzhou: a spherical ultra-high-definition screen measuring 16 meters in diameter, the first outdoor display of its kind in Guangdong Province.

After nightfall, ultra-high-definition images gradually illuminate the sphere. Surging ocean waves, glittering galaxies and an animated “giant eye” unfold across its curved surface in turn, their reflections shimmering on the canal below. The structure resembles a glowing “planet” rising from the waterfront, creating a strikingly futuristic and immersive atmosphere.
