2026 Huangpu Marathon Set for December 27 in Guangzhou

The 2026 Huangpu Marathon will start on December 27 in Huangpu District, Guangzhou.

Since its inaugural edition in 2017, the Huangpu Marathon has continued to grow while remaining true to its founding vision: “Come to Huangpu, Run toward Happiness.” With steadily growing influence and an increasingly established brand, it has become an influential road-running event in South China, bringing together runners from near and far and providing a vibrant showcase for the city.

In recent years, Huangpu District has promoted sports to benefit residents, further integrated sports and education, and worked to develop a network of fitness facilities accessible within 10 minutes. It has improved the distribution of sports venues and facilities across the district and coordinated the development of mass participation sports, competitive sports, school sports and the sports industry, with the aim of building a healthier and happier Huangpu.

The 2026 edition will feature comprehensive upgrades, offering more attentive services and a more immersive race experience in response to the passion and dedication of every runner.
