Huangpu, Guangzhou Completes First Resale Home Registration Through Housing Voucher Platform

The Huangpu District Real Estate Registration Center in Guangzhou recently completed its first resale home transaction registration through the district’s housing voucher property platform for urban village redevelopment projects, issuing a real estate ownership certificate to a resident surnamed Qin. This marks the first completion of the entire housing voucher resettlement process through the platform in Huangpu, confirming that vouchers can now be used to purchase resale homes listed on it.

On June 26, Qin visited the center to apply to register the purchase of a resale home listed on the district’s housing voucher property platform. To expedite the resettlement process, staff conducted a preliminary review of the application and sent an official inquiry to verify matters relating to the land-use rights transfer fee, following the prescribed procedures and relevant regulations. Once verification was complete, the registration was approved on July 14, and the certificate was issued on July 15. Each stage, from application acceptance to certificate issuance, proceeded smoothly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Following this first transaction, the center continued to receive applications from residents and has processed more than 150 cases to date.
