Huangpu Hosts “Overseas Chinese Empowering the Economy, Guangzhou Connecting the World” Special Event

The Huangpu special event themed “Overseas Chinese Empowering the Economy, Guangzhou Connecting the World,” together with the Conference on Harnessing Overseas Chinese Expertise for High-Quality Economic Development, is held in Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District.

Representatives of 10 platforms spanning government agencies, chambers of commerce and overseas expansion services sign agreements to jointly build a full-chain ecosystem under the “Overseas Chinese Empowering the Economy” initiative.

The event also features the Guigu “Fan” Roundtable Dialogue, which will be held regularly in the future.

On August 26, the Huangpu special event themed “Overseas Chinese Empowering the Economy, Guangzhou Connecting the World,” together with the Conference on Harnessing Overseas Chinese Expertise for High-Quality Economic Development, was held in Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District.

More than 200 participants—including honorary citizens of Guangzhou, prominent overseas Chinese community leaders and businesspeople based in China and abroad, representatives of overseas returnees engaged in science and technology innovation, and representatives of various service organizations—gathered to offer insights and recommendations for the region’s high-quality development.
