Recently, the Residents Committee of Bigang Community, Yunpu Subdistrict, Huangpu District, Guangzhou, issued the 2026 Bigang Community Reward Measures for Students Admitted to Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs (hereinafter referred to as the “Measures”). Under the Measures, eligible newly admitted students from among community shareholders will receive generous scholarship rewards, encouraging local students to pursue academic excellence and strive for success.
According to the Measures, the community will provide scholarships to graduating high school students who are community shareholders and have been admitted to undergraduate programs in the current year, as well as graduating undergraduate students admitted to master’s or doctoral programs (subject to the admission letter). Among them, undergraduate students admitted to Tsinghua University or Peking University will each receive a reward of 100,000 yuan. Students whose scores meet the Special Type Admission Control Line of Guangdong Province for the current year (including the Strong Foundation Program, the Special College Admission Program, and Comprehensive Evaluation Admission) will each receive a reward of 6,000 yuan. Students admitted to full-time master’s or doctoral programs at domestic universities and colleges (excluding those in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) will each receive 8,000 yuan.
Eligible students must apply for the scholarship within the year they receive their admission letters by submitting their household registration booklet, shareholder certificate (or their parent’s shareholder certificate if they do not have one), ID card, examination results, admission letter, and other relevant documents to the community. Late applications will not be accepted.
In addition, Luogang Community in Luogang Subdistrict recently held an award event for outstanding students. Since 2021, the community has rewarded 376 outstanding students and distributed more than 1.7 million yuan in incentives.
