The event saw the release of multiple industry achievements and the signing of strategic cooperation agreements. Through resource coordination and collaboration among multiple parties, the foundation for the development of Huangpu’s short drama industry was further strengthened.
The newly elected chairing organization, Science City Digital Technology Group, officially launched the “Greater Bay Area Smart City Model Marketplace.”
Kuan Chumeng, the association’s first chairperson and a representative of Science City Digital Technology Group, said, “The association will serve member companies in three key areas: AI technology empowerment, industrial resource integration, and ecosystem co-construction and sharing.”
On one hand, the association will leverage the Model Marketplace to provide direct access to compliant AI model services, significantly reducing computing costs for short drama production through standardized scheduling services. On the other hand, it will integrate resources across the entire industry chain, including venue sharing, policy applications, financial services and talent matchmaking, while establishing a regular supply-demand coordination mechanism. These efforts will help upstream and downstream enterprises collaborate to seize new opportunities brought by the integration of AI and the film and short drama industries.
The event also featured the promotion of several key industry platforms, including the Kelinghui Greater Bay Area Cultural Overseas Expansion Base, the Balian Short Drama Production Base, and the “Five-in-One” intelligent cloud Token service model, covering key industry segments such as technological support, filming facilities and overseas distribution. Strategic cooperation agreements were signed in multiple areas, including “Token Computing × Film and Television,” film and television content production, and international short drama licensing, further enhancing collaboration across the industry chain.
In addition, the “Smart Film Empowers Huangpu · Creating and Sharing the Greater Bay Area” International Youth AI Film Project and the AIGC Talent Incubation Center · Industry-Education Integration OPC Ecosystem Community were launched, further strengthening industry segments including talent cultivation, international exchange and copyright services.
Huangpu District has a solid foundation and unique advantages in developing the film and short drama industry. The district’s cultural and creative industry has surpassed 100 billion yuan in scale, with more than 20,000 technology enterprises established in the area. Cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence and ultra-high-definition displays, are providing strong technological support for film and short drama production.
