Huangpu District of Guangzhou Expands 2026 “Run Talent Program” with Over 10,000 Internship Opportunities Available Year-Round

The 2026 “Run Talent Program” Ten-Thousand Students Internship Initiative of Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District, Guangzhou, has officially launched. To help young talents “arrive with confidence, settle down with peace of mind, and pursue growth with ease,” Huangpu District has introduced a series of substantial support measures.
During internships, some participating enterprises will cover transportation costs to Huangpu, as well as accommodation and meals during the internship period. Eligible fresh graduates can apply for the “Kaopu Youth Inn” and enjoy two separate 15-day periods of free accommodation for job hunting and employment onboarding.
Meanwhile, Huangpu District has pioneered the “Kaopu Employment Broker” service model, providing students with personalized services such as one-on-one policy briefings, resume assistance, and interview coaching. For outstanding interns who eventually stay and work in Huangpu, employers can receive a retention subsidy of up to RMB 10,000 per intern.

Currently, more than 80 renowned enterprises and research institutions, including Guangzhou Laboratory, China Southern Airlines, Xpeng, and CVTE, have opened over 3,000 internship positions. The opportunities cover five key areas: cutting-edge R&D, intelligent manufacturing, marketing and operations, aviation logistics, and functional support.

For young talents who choose to build their careers and lives in Huangpu, the district has further enhanced its “housing support package.”
Rental Support During Transition
After securing employment and meeting relevant conditions, eligible bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduates, skilled professionals, and young people from Hong Kong and Macao can receive monthly rental subsidies ranging from RMB 800 to RMB 1,500 for up to two years.
One-Time Housing Voucher Subsidies
Eligible full-time doctoral graduates (or holders of senior professional titles or chief technician qualifications), master’s graduates (or holders of associate senior professional titles or master technician qualifications), and bachelor’s graduates (or holders of senior technician qualifications) can receive one-time housing voucher subsidies of RMB 250,000, RMB 150,000, and RMB 100,000, respectively.
Comprehensive Family Support
Recognized high-level talents can use their “Huangpu Talent Card” to access a full range of services, including dedicated talent managers, free health check-ups, traditional Chinese medicine services, fitness facilities, and comprehensive family support covering elderly care and childcare.
