Huangpu Black Tea Gains National-Level Recognition

Recently, the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs released the first batch of the 2026 national list of famous, specialty, high-quality and new agricultural products. Huangpu Black Tea, an agricultural product from Huangpu District, Guangzhou, was included on the list for the first time.
With more than six decades of tea-making tradition, Huangpu Black Tea is produced in the Lingtou tea-growing area of Changling Subdistrict. Nurtured by a high-quality ecological environment often shrouded in mist, the finished tea features a bright, clear red liquor and golden downy tips, reflecting its outstanding quality. It has become a signature product of Huangpu’s premium urban ecological agriculture.
