Phoenix Lake: Surrounded by Bald Cypresses, Beautiful as a Fairyland
Located in the middle reaches of the Liusha River basin in the southern start-up area of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Phoenix Lake Park covers an area of 306,700 square meters. This includes a water surface area of 151,500 square meters and a green area of approximately 120,000 square meters. Completed in October 2014, it is an urban park that integrates flood control and regulation, ecological landscaping, and recreational functions.
Every autumn and winter, the bald cypresses lining the wooden boardwalk at Phoenix Lake turn a brilliant red. Strolling along the boardwalk feels like stepping into an oil painting. The pavilion at the center of the lake, surrounded by these bald cypresses, creates an enchanting, fairyland-like scene, making Phoenix Lake a highly sought-after "internet-famous check-in spot" for the public.
