The National Organic Polymer Materials Industry Cluster Trade Fair (the 10th Huajiao Fair) was held in Guangzhou’s Huangpu District

New materials companies sign agreements to join the national-level organic polymer industry cluster

Nearly 300 new materials enterprises participated in this year’s Huajiao Fair

On May 13, the 10th National Organic Polymer Materials Industry Cluster Trade Fair ("Huajiao Fair"), together with the "'Sui Xiaoxin' Enters Industrial Clusters" event, concluded at the South China New Materials Innovation Park in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Bringing together nearly 300 innovative entities, including new materials enterprises, universities, and research institutes, the event adopted a "one main venue plus three sub-venues" model to empower the high-quality development of the new materials industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The event featured a range of highlights. "Sui Xiaoxin," the first digital government service avatar in Guangdong's industry and information technology sector, made its debut in the industrial cluster. Powered by AI, it provides 24/7 policy services, helping to bridge the "last mile" of policy implementation. Experts and enterprise representatives shared their practical experience in applying AI to new materials R&D and industrial chain collaboration. Meanwhile, the "AI Joint Innovation Park" was officially unveiled.
Featuring five exhibition zones, the trade fair attracted more than 2,000 visitors and facilitated transactions totaling over RMB 1 billion. During the event, the New Materials Industry Application Scenario List was released to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements from the "laboratory" to the "production line." Among the exhibitors was a gathering of high-quality enterprises, including national-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative (SRDI) "Little Giant" companies. The exhibition highlighted features such as full industrial-chain collaboration and a dual-drive approach of hard-tech innovation and green development.
The event also featured a group signing ceremony for eight enterprises settling in the park. A representative of the South China New Materials Innovation Park stated that future efforts will focus on advancing Huangpu's national-level organic polymer materials industry cluster toward an RMB 100 billion scale, supporting the development of Guangzhou's modern industrial system.
