Two Projects Named National Exemplary Cases as Guangzhou's Huangpu Forges Ahead in the Metaverse Sector

Recently, the General Offices of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration jointly released the list of 2025 Exemplary Metaverse Cases. A total of 193 outstanding projects nationwide were selected. Guangzhou secured seven spots on the list. Among them, Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District stood out by winning two national-level honors, driven by their robust technological innovation capabilities. The selected projects include one exemplary digital human case and one exemplary metaverse industrial park case: the Front Desk Service Digital Human developed by GRGBanking Equipment Co., Ltd., and the Guangzhou Lihong Cultural and Creative Metaverse Industrial Park developed by Guangzhou Lihong Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship Service Co., Ltd.

GRGBanking’s Front Desk Service Digital Human

The Front Desk Service Digital Human by GRGBanking was selected for its core strengths in multimodal interaction and full-stack independent and controllable technologies. Deeply integrating advanced large AI models, computer vision, and intelligent interaction technologies, this digital human focuses on financial, governmental, and public service scenarios, providing integrated services such as smart consultation, business guidance, and customer care. Featuring a highly human-like appearance, strong environmental adaptability, and full offline operation capabilities, it has already been deployed in more than ten financial institutions—including China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and Guangdong Rural Credit Cooperatives—as well as in government service centers, medical insurance facilities, and hospitals.

Lihong Cultural and Creative Flagship Park

Centered on AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), the metaverse, and new cultural and creative industries, the Lihong Cultural and Creative Flagship Park spans a total area of 23,800 square meters. The park has established a range of top-tier industrial platforms, including a digital metaverse experience space, a 5G/AI future media production center, an XR virtual studio, a virtual simulation laboratory, and the Boundless Art Exhibition Space. It has formed a three-tier coordinated industrial layout encompassing content production, technological support, and scenario applications. The park covers key technologies such as full-process digital human development, extended reality, digital twins, 5G+AI, and blockchain. Furthermore, it has implemented six major application scenarios: "Metaverse + Cultural Tourism," public services, emergency response, critical industrial processes, and digital lifestyle consumption.
