First Physical Substation of Guangzhou Huangpu’s "One Station, Multiple Parks" Biomedical Innovation Service System Officially Opens

Updated : 2026-05-06

Recently, biomedical enterprises on Guangzhou International Bio Island welcomed a pleasant surprise: the first physical substation of Huangpu District’s "One Station, Multiple Parks" biomedical innovation service system has officially commenced operations. With this new facility, enterprises on the island can conveniently access professional consulting and guidance services for drug and medical device registration and application right at their doorstep. This achieves "on-site processing and zero-distance service," drastically reducing administrative costs for enterprises while significantly improving efficiency, ensuring that policy benefits are delivered precisely and directly to the front lines of business.

According to reports, each substation relies on regular operational mechanisms—such as monthly product surveys and periodic service reviews—to continuously track the progress of products under development by enterprises in the park. This enables them to stay closely updated on R&D dynamics, regulatory filing needs, and development bottlenecks. Since the beginning of 2026, a total of 84 products under development have been surveyed. The main station carefully selects high-quality product candidates with strong clinical value and broad development prospects, placing them on the priority service lists of the Greater Bay Area Sub-center, as well as provincial, municipal, and district authorities. Tailored "one-on-one" targeted support has been implemented, successfully helping products such as upper limb measuring devices secure entry into the special approval procedure for innovative medical devices. This truly demonstrates "Huangpu Speed" in accelerating the market launch of innovative products. (Text/Photo by Guangzhou Daily Xin Hua Cheng reporter Lu Mengqian and correspondent Qin Mingyue)
