Guangzhou’s Huangpu: Launch Event Held for the "Education Digitalization Innovation Zone"

Recently, the launch event for the Huangpu Education Digitalization Innovation Zone was held. The event was co-hosted by the Huangpu District Government of Guangzhou and the Center for Educational Technology and Resource Development under the Ministry of Education (National Center for Educational Technology).
At the launch ceremony, He Yuhong, Deputy District Mayor of Huangpu, recalled that with the support of the Center for Educational Technology and Resource Development, Huangpu launched the "Innovation and Application Project for Digital and Intelligent Educational Equipment," facilitating the successful implementation of various innovative scenarios. Moving forward, both parties will deepen their strategic cooperation to jointly build the Huangpu Education Digitalization Innovation Zone.
During the event, the "AI + Education" Community was officially launched. Spearheaded by the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau and initiated by the Huangpu District Education Bureau, the community brings together universities, research institutes, leading enterprises, primary and secondary schools, and other key resources. Embracing the philosophy of "openness, collaboration, co-creation, sharing, ecology, and empowerment," it lays a solid foundation for AI-empowered education.
According to reports, Huangpu District is currently implementing the "AI + Education" Fusion Initiative. This initiative maps out a systematic implementation pathway featuring "one core leading, three foundational supports, full-scenario implementation, and ecological synergy." Utilizing the Huangpu Education Digitalization Innovation Zone as a platform and the Guangzhou "AI + Education" Community as an ecological safeguard, Huangpu is fully committed to building a national benchmark for the integrated innovation of "AI + Education."
