Guangzhou’s First AI Agent Industrial Park Officially Unveiled

Updated : 2026-04-20

Recently, the Guangzhou Intelligent Software Valley, along with the city’s first AI Agent Industrial Park, was officially unveiled in the Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District. This launch marks a new stage of clustered and scaled development for the district’s intelligent software and artificial intelligence industries, injecting fresh momentum into regional industrial upgrading.

Located within the Frontier Technology Innovation Industrial Park in the core area of Huangpu Science City, the park enjoys a prime geographical advantage. Covering a land area of 128,000 square meters with a total floor space of 447,500 square meters, the project features four R&D buildings and four high-standard industrial facilities. These are complemented by a headquarters office building and a 17-story talent apartment complex offering 416 units, with the capacity to accommodate approximately 20,000 professionals.
Supporting facilities are comprehensive, including spaces for roadshows and product launches, staff canteens, and sports venues. The park is also surrounded by major commercial and cultural amenities such as Wanda Plaza and the Baoneng International Sports and Performing Arts Center, with high-quality medical resources like the Lingnan Hospital of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University right on its doorstep. Situated just 100 meters from the Luogang Station on Metro Lines 6 and 7, major cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are accessible within 1.5 hours. Altogether, the site perfectly aligns with the full-chain needs of tech enterprises spanning R&D, production, office operations, and daily living.
"The Guangzhou Intelligent Software Valley is currently the largest and most comprehensively equipped AI industrial park in Huangpu District," said Zhu Haihui, General Manager of Science City (Guangzhou) Development Group Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Science City Group). He noted that the group will focus on three upcoming priorities: building a comprehensive intelligent public service platform covering the entire chain from design to operation; establishing a pilot testing and validation base; and upgrading the Guangdong OpenHarmony Adaptation Center at the site. These efforts aim to support the construction of local computing power clusters, integrate cloud, edge, and terminal computing resources, and promote the deep integration of intelligent computing with service industries.
Specifically, the Guangzhou Intelligent Software Valley is positioned as a demonstration zone for software ecosystem innovation. Focusing on core areas such as foundational software, industrial software, OpenHarmony, artificial intelligence, and "AI + Manufacturing," it will leverage platform resources like the National Center of Technology Innovation for the Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong Industrial Software Innovation Center. The goal is to break through bottlenecks in the localization of R&D, design, and production control software, thereby building a complete industrial chain spanning "foundational software—core industrial software products—industry application solutions."
Meanwhile, the AI Agent Industrial Park will utilize AI agents as its core driver. Focusing on open-source frameworks such as OpenClaw, it will build a full-chain industrial carrier for the R&D, testing, deployment, and application of AI agents, accelerating the transition of AI from an "assistive tool" to an "autonomous executor."
By the end of 2028, the Guangzhou Intelligent Software Valley expects to attract no fewer than 50 industrial software enterprises, achieving a software industry scale exceeding 10 billion RMB. It aims to become a national benchmark for the domestic substitution of industrial software and an innovation demonstration zone for "AI + Manufacturing."
Looking ahead, the Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District will utilize the Guangzhou Intelligent Software Valley, the AI Agent Industrial Park, and Kaitou Zhixing Space as key physical carriers. Driven by leading enterprises such as MiniMax, the district will continue to strengthen comprehensive support across policies, computing power, application scenarios, and talent. Efforts will focus on advancing the localization of industrial software, scaling up the application of AI agents, and deepening the OpenHarmony ecosystem. These moves will accelerate the formation of a trillion-yuan digital economy industrial cluster, injecting robust momentum into Guangzhou’s ambition to become a world-leading hub for the AI and software industries.
