Recently, the Xiagang Subdistrict vertical public car park, invested and constructed by the Station Company of Guangzhou Development District Communication Investment Group, officially entered trial operation. Located north of Qingnian Road and south of Jinqiao Road in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, the project features 200 public parking spaces that are open 24/7. The project abandons traditional parking models and introduces industry-leading vertical circulation mechanical parking equipment. It innovatively adopts technologies such as dual-axis drives and intelligent hydraulic anti-sway systems, ensuring that the operational process is quiet, stable, safe, and comfortable. Furthermore, relying on AI intelligent detection, license plate recognition, and facial recognition systems, it creates a new smart parking model featuring "smart access and one-click reservation," comprehensively improving residents’ travel efficiency and user experience.
The addition of these 200 public parking spaces effectively alleviates the parking difficulties faced by surrounding residential communities, enterprises, and school staff. It also improves the traffic efficiency of main roads such as Jinqiao Road and Qingnian Road, effectively ensuring the safety of residents’ travel.
At the same time, the project expands upward within a limited land footprint, achieving a plot ratio of 4.0. It has become a typical case study of intensive land utilization in high-density urban areas, providing a replicable and scalable "Huangpu Solution" for the construction of urban parking facilities.
