On March 29, "Ode to the Maritime Silk Road," an immersive themed dining show centered on Maritime Silk Road culture, officially began trial operations in Guangzhou's Huangpu District. By seamlessly blending "dining, live performance, and interactive experiences," the show creates a profound cultural journey and lasting sensory memories for its guests.
"Ode to the Maritime Silk Road" is a 90-minute immersive theatrical experience. Actors weave gracefully through the banquet tables, with the storyline unfolding alongside the presentation of each exquisite dish. The customized menu fuses traditional Lingnan flavors with exotic culinary elements from along the historic trade routes, featuring delicacies such as Bak Kut Teh, Nanyang-style oysters, and Shenjing roast goose. While savoring the cuisine, guests are treated to elegant court music, Nyonya dances, Arabic choreography, and traditional Lingnan melodies, offering a magnificent dual feast for both the palate and the eyes.
