On March 20, GOVY's multi-rotor flying car, the AirCab, successfully completed its first urban flight over Haixinsha in Guangzhou, marking an important breakthrough for GOVY from "production line R&D" to "real-world operations," and providing a "Guangzhou model" for the commercialization of the low-altitude economy.
GOVY, located in Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District, is a low-altitude mobility technology enterprise incubated by GAC Group. It is committed to full-chain services covering research, production, and sales of flying cars, with full-aircraft R&D at its core, building a product matrix spanning short-range multi-rotor and intercity compound-wing flying car models.
As GOVY's first mass-production flying car model, the AirCab has fully demonstrated its safety and reliability through rigorous tests including bird strike impact, emergency landing, and high-and-low-temperature environment assessments. It also innovatively adopts a "vehicle + aviation" mass production paradigm, effectively reducing manufacturing costs, laying the foundation for future inclusive operations, and further validating the feasibility of commercial deployment.
As a key national pilot city for the low-altitude economy, Guangzhou has planned over 100 regular takeoff and landing sites along with low-altitude intelligent network infrastructure. This first flight exemplifies the convergence of industrial infrastructure and enterprise innovation.
At a technical sharing session held alongside the event, GOVY revealed that the Guangzhou factory will roll off its first aircraft in May this year, and has already secured more than 2,000 orders of intent.
GOVY's Guangzhou factory is located in Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District. The facility is divided into a final assembly workshop, sub-assembly workshop, composite material manufacturing workshop, and painting workshop, supporting pilot production and Production Certificate (PC) approval processes for the multi-rotor flying car GOVY AirCab (GAC-A6).
At present, the GOVY AirCab has entered the comprehensive airworthiness certification stage and is expected to complete certification and initiate mass production and delivery by the end of 2026. The first batch of certified airworthy models will also roll off the production line at GOVY's Guangzhou factory.

"The ultimate value of technology is inclusive sharing." Dr. Su Qingpeng, founder of GOVY, emphasized at the sharing session that the company has always upheld the principle of "technological equity." Once commercial operations begin, passenger fares are expected to gradually come down to the level of premium ride-hailing services, making flying taxis an accessible travel option for the general public.
With the advancement of intercity route planning across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, GOVY AirCab will pioneer regular operations in cultural tourism and daily commuting.
