Recently, Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District have successfully introduced a major cultural and tourism project—the “ESCAPE Out-of-City Escape Park” project under Singapore-based Sim Leisure Group—which has officially signed an agreement to locate in the district. With a total investment of 400 million yuan, the project marks Sim Leisure Group’s first entry into the Chinese market. It will develop a comprehensive leisure and tourism destination integrating water-based tourism attractions, ESCAPE adventure tourism facilities, jungle challenge courses, aerial cableways, and water slides.
After it opens to the public, the “ESCAPE Out-of-City Escape Park” project is expected to attract around one million visitors annually. It will directly boost surrounding consumption in sectors such as dining, accommodation, and retail, significantly energizing the regional economy.
