Recently, the “Ultra-HD Vision, Intelligently Connected Future” Guangdong Manufacturing Empowerment Matchmaking Series Event (Special Session on Chain-Based Empowerment by Leading Enterprises in the Ultra-HD Video Industry Chain) was successfully held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou.
As a core hub of Guangzhou’s ultra-high-definition video industry, Huangpu has long regarded the ultra-HD video sector as a key pillar in building the 12136 modern industrial system. The district is now home to more than 130 enterprises across the industry chain, forming an industrial cluster led by CVTE and TCL CSOT, with specialized and innovative enterprises spanning core components, terminal equipment, content production, transmission networks, and application services. By 2025, the industry is expected to achieve an output value exceeding 140 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 70 percent of the city’s total.
At the event, leading chain enterprises including CVTE, GAC Group, and TCL CSOT released their supply chain demands and empowerment needs. Meanwhile, enabling institutions such as Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), Guangdong Juhua, Greater Bay Area National Technology Innovation Center, and Alibaba Cloud shared solutions covering supply chain empowerment, technological innovation, digital transformation, and standards development. Through active exchanges between supply and demand sides, several enterprises reached preliminary cooperation agreements.
During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, industry and information technology departments at the provincial, municipal, and district levels will promote the deep integration of “four new” technologies with manufacturing through a comprehensive policy package, including continued manufacturing empowerment and matchmaking initiatives.
