On January 22, the launch ceremony for the Phase IV project of CanSemi Technology Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "CanSemi") was held in the Guangzhou Development District, Huangpu District.

With a total investment of approximately 25.2 billion yuan, the project plans to construct a 12-inch mixed-signal specialty process production line with a monthly capacity of 40,000 wafers. Focusing on six key directions—"Sensing, Transmission, Computing, Storage, Control, and Display"—the project aims to systematically build a specialty process platform featuring mixed-signal and optoelectronic integration technology that meets advanced international standards.

According to reports, CanSemi's Phase IV project is designed to precisely align with the urgent demand for specialty processes driven by explosive growth in frontier fields such as AI, Edge AI, industrial electronics, and automotive electronics.
