Huangpu’s "Yangcheng Skills Refueling Stations" Help Residents Secure Stable Employment

Updated : 2026-01-23

Since 2025, the Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District have responded to the "Universal Skills Training Campaign" by launching a major initiative: the "15-Minute Skills Training Service Circle."

The first batch of 30 "Yangcheng Skills Refueling Stations" has been fully rolled out. These stations cover nine major fields, including urgent and shortage occupations, emerging industries, and household services. From community residents and corporate employees to college graduates, military veterans, and unemployed individuals, everyone can find a customized path for improvement here, igniting their enthusiasm for achieving success through skills and increasing their income.

The Home Organization and Storage Skills Training at Huangpu’s "Yangcheng Skills Refueling Station" proves highly popular among the public

"They don’t just open classes randomly; they teach exactly what we need." This is the genuine feedback from many trainees regarding the Huangpu "Yangcheng Skills Refueling Stations." Relying on mature operational experience, the Huangpu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau coordinates core resources such as teaching staff and curricula to make the training both "responsive to immediate needs" and "practical."

Customization based on demand has made the model of "Residents Order, Stations Deliver" the new normal. By collecting requests through demand survey groups, publishing monthly training plans, conducting post-class satisfaction surveys, and continuously optimizing "post-training services," a complete closed-loop service chain has been built. This ensures that different groups can find suitable courses, bidding farewell to the problem of "learning things that cannot be used."

The curriculum design balances both tradition and trends. It delves deep into traditional strongholds like domestic services, elderly care, childcare, and cooking to meet public livelihood needs. Simultaneously, it introduces emerging courses such as "AI + Social Media Livestreaming," "Digital Economy," and "Intelligent Manufacturing" to open up new tracks for employment. These practical courses have received an enthusiastic response upon launch, frequently resulting in "fully booked" classes due to high demand.
