Recently, the “Panorama of the Pearl River—The Pictorial Reimagining of Industrial Landscapes in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area” sketching event was held in Huangpu District. Fifteen renowned artists from Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Henan, Xinjiang, and other regions conducted on-site sketching in key industrial areas of the Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District. Through brush-and-ink works, they explored the aesthetic value and spiritual significance of industrial civilization.
The event not only presented the contemporary industrial landscape of Huangpu District but also contributed to the establishment of a new model of public cultural service characterized by government leadership, enterprise participation, artist involvement, and public benefit, thereby creating a vivid visual archive of industrial civilization in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
