On the morning of December 30, Luogang Xiangxue Park in Guangzhou was bustling with activity as the 16th Luogang Fragrant Snow Culture Season officially kicked off. As a Guangdong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage item and one of the “Eight Scenic Spots of Yangcheng,” “Luogang Fragrant Snow” has remained a centerpiece of Guangzhou’s winter cultural and tourism market, having welcomed nearly 8 million cumulative visitors.
According to organizers, the plum blossoms of this year’s “Luogang Fragrant Snow” entered the initial blooming phase around December 24, 2025, are expected to reach full bloom around January 3, 2026, lasting for approximately 10 days, and will enter the fading phase around January 13. Visitors are advised to plan their visits accordingly to enjoy plum blossom viewing and early spring sightseeing during off-peak periods.
