Huangpu to Welcome the First Sam’s Club in Eastern Guangzhou

On December 24, the Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Development District signed a cooperation framework agreement with Walmart (China) Investment Co., Ltd.. The globally renowned retailer Walmart’s Sam’s Club will establish a presence in Huangpu District, injecting strong momentum into enhancing the commercial capacity and optimizing the consumption structure of Huangpu District and the broader eastern Guangzhou area.

The Huangpu Sam’s Club will be the first Sam’s Club in the eastern Guangzhou area. With a planned gross floor area of approximately 21,500 square meters, construction is scheduled to commence in early 2026, and the store is expected to open in 2028.
