Overseas Chinese in Huangpu Connecting Global Value Chains — Regular Overseas Expansion Services Fuel the High-Quality Advancement of the “Guangdong Trade Global” Initiative

On November 27, the “Guangdong Trade Global · Guangzhou Links the World” Overseas Expansion Resource Matchmaking and Cooperation Exchange Event with Overseas Chinese associations and business leaders was held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. 

As the highlight of the event, three progressive thematic sessions—“Global Vision: Decoding Overseas Experience,” “Ecosystem Mapping: Navigating Resource Linkages,” and “Market Expansion: Identifying Outbound Needs”—jointly created a full-chain service scenario for enterprises going global. Representative enterprises from the district, including Akeso, Inc., XAG Co., Ltd., and Tianyun Technology, shared hands-on experience in overseas pharmaceutical compliance, global technology deployment, and outbound operational systems. Overseas Chinese chambers and professional service organizations, such as the Russian-Chinese Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Dazhihui Holdings Singapore Outbound Service Platform, provided end-to-end support including market research and channel development. Companies such as Chengxing Communication and Zhonglei Power Technology also announced their technology collaboration and industrial chain cooperation needs.

In addition, the “Outbound Enterprise Needs and Services Exhibition” held alongside the main event attracted considerable attention, fostering a highly pragmatic atmosphere for business matchmaking. According to organizers, participating enterprises showed strong interest in Belt and Road partner countries, with significantly rising attention to emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East—reflecting Huangpu’s growing enthusiasm for integrating into global industrial chains. 

In recent years, Huangpu District—an important hub for technological innovation and industrial clustering in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—has continued to improve its service system for enterprises expanding overseas. Through the introduction of the “18 Measures for Domestic and Foreign Trade Integration,” the district provides comprehensive support across key areas such as cross-border platform development, export credit insurance, and logistics and customs facilitation. At the same time, it is actively building international service platforms such as the Guigu Science and Technology Park, leveraging the unique strengths of overseas Chinese communities to form a crucial bridge for bringing “Huangpu Manufacturing” to the global stage.

Looking ahead, Huangpu District will continue deepening practical cooperation with overseas Chinese communities. By tapping into their global business networks and focusing on the practical needs of enterprises during international expansion, the district will further refine its regular engagement mechanisms.
