On October 28, the Guangzhou Knowledge City Comprehensive Bonded Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Knowledge City CBZ") investment promotion conference was held at China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.
At the conference, Sui Ying, Executive Deputy Director of the Bonded Business Administration of Guangzhou Development District, elaborated on the core competitiveness of the Knowledge City CBZ from six key aspects: basic profile, location and transportation, industrial foundation, carrier space, policy support, and service guarantees. Sui Ying stated, “The Knowledge City CBZ is backed by the national-level bilateral cooperation project — the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City — and enjoys three layers of policy incentives: ‘National-Level Bilateral Cooperation Project + Free Trade Pilot Zone Linkage Development Area + Comprehensive Bonded Zone.’”
Weng Jianmiao, Chairman of Guangzhou Kuajingtong Low-Altitude Industry Development Co., Ltd., noted, “For enterprises engaged in cross-border business, the customs facilitation provided in regulatory processes and customs clearance within the Comprehensive Bonded Zone has significantly improved distribution efficiency while reducing costs.” It is reported that the company has successfully launched the country’s first cross-border e-commerce “Express Delivery Bonded Direct Purchase Store” in the Guangzhou Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Since its opening, the store has handled approximately 13,000 orders, with goods worth approximately RMB 7 million.
To attract more enterprises to the Knowledge City CBZ, Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District have tailored policies based on the zone’s industrial characteristics. Leveraging the “golden brand” of Guangzhou Development District’s business environment, the district is accelerating the innovative upgrade of the Knowledge City CBZ. It has customized a policy support system covering the entire enterprise life cycle — from targeted subsidies under the “New Quality Productive Forces 30 Measures,” factor support through the “Land-Use Express Channel” mechanism, to “nanny-style” services and the “Customs-Land Coordination” mechanism — providing comprehensive support for the secure and steady development of enterprises.
