On September 18, Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District officially launched the “Strategic Entrepreneur Development Program,” which will selectively recruit chairpersons and general managers from high-growth and high-potential private enterprises within the district, providing systematic support and targeted empowerment to strengthen their overall management and operational capabilities.
At the launch event, a plaque-awarding ceremony was held for the first group of “Industry Leading Entrepreneurs,” alongside signing agreements with resource empowerment partners. The inaugural “Hundred-Person Group” selected 108 highly promising private entrepreneurs, with an average age of 48. They possess expertise in areas such as computer science, artificial intelligence, and business management, and come from 23 listed companies. On average, their enterprises hold 167 intellectual property rights.
The program marks a crucial step in building a new type of government-enterprise relationship in Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District. With deep participation from multiple departments, the program integrates high-quality resources from government agencies, industrial parks, renowned universities, research institutes, investment and financing organizations, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship service providers. Together, they form a “1+4” development framework to deliver precise empowerment for entrepreneurs.
