On July 30, Suidong Subdistrict of Guangzhou’s Huangpu District held a launch event for the “Explore Suidong by Bus” cultural tourism promotion campaign, unveiling a dedicated tourist bus route connecting Longtou Mountain Forest Park and the Guangzhou Maritime Museum.
The route connects three key stops—Longtou Mountain, Miaotou Metro Station, and the Guangzhou Maritime Museum. The service is free of charge, with buses running every 30 minutes on weekends and public holidays, and every 60 minutes on weekdays during the summer vacation period. It enables seamless connections among the metro, BRT, and tourist bus services, offering visitors a one-day tour combining natural landscapes and cultural attractions.
It was also revealed that the Fuxu Canal cultural tourism project is expected to launch a nighttime sightseeing experience during this year’s National Day holiday. The program will feature attractions including a dome cinema and an immersive walking night tour, with sound, lighting, and projection facilities already in place. During the daytime, visitors can enjoy water activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and small yacht rides, as well as “super factory” educational tours and food markets along the canal.
