“HELLO GUANGZHOU” Foreign Services Platform Officially Launches in Guangzhou to Facilitate Inbound Travel and Enhance Openness

On June 26, 2026, the launch ceremony of the “HELLO GUANGZHOU” Foreign Services Platform was held at the Guangzhou Immigration Service Center by the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau.

To advance the digital transformation of government services, further optimize the business environment for foreign-related services, and enhance the convenience of inbound travel, the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, together with the Guangzhou Municipal Government Affairs Data Administration, developed the platform on the Alipay app. Focusing on the full-process service needs of foreigners in China, the platform addresses challenges such as complicated procedures, scattered service channels, and untimely access to information. It integrates government services, daily life assistance, tourism resources, and a dedicated China Import and Export Fair section into a comprehensive online service platform.

According to officials from the exit-entry administration authority, the “HELLO GUANGZHOU” Foreign Services Platform, available through the City Services section of the Alipay app, consists of four major sections:

First, Government Services: It integrates a range of frequently used services, including visa appointment booking, online arrival card submission, accommodation registration for overseas visitors, immigration medical examination appointments, social insurance payments, customs declarations, and departure tax refund applications.

Second, Everyday Living: It provides practical service guidance covering communications, transportation, accommodation, and other daily needs, helping international visitors better adapt to life in Guangzhou.

Third, Tourism: It provides cultural and tourism information on Guangdong Province and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, along with attraction reservations and city introductions to help visitors plan their trips.

Fourth, China Import and Export Fair Section: Focusing on the needs of exhibitors and business visitors, this section provides services including documentation assistance, transportation guidance, service consultations, itinerary planning, and emergency support. It helps reduce the time required to search for information, improve service efficiency, and provide digital support for international exhibitions.

The “HELLO GUANGZHOU” Foreign Services Platform enables convenient, end-to-end online services, significantly reducing processing time and simplifying procedures. By making foreign-related services accessible through mobile devices and one-stop digital services, the platform effectively improves the efficiency of government services and enhances the experience of foreigners in China.

Going forward, the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau will make full use of the platform’s advantages, expand publicity channels, and increase awareness and influence of the platform. The bureau will work to provide foreign visitors with a more convenient experience in entry, stay, and residence, contributing to Guangzhou’s development into a world city with both enduring cultural appeal and contemporary vitality.
