As the May Day holiday ended, the 2026 Guangzhou Coffee Culture Season drew to a close amid reluctant farewells from the final wave of coffee enthusiasts. This highly anticipated citywide coffee event brought together brands from 13 countries and 43 cities, featuring over 230 exhibition booths. Many brands sold out their products on the opening day alone, prompting urgent restocking throughout the event. Huangpu District showcased a collective of local brands—including KEYSTONE Coffee, Zhiwei Lian Coffee, and Qianpai Coffee—posting an impressive performance at this coffee extravaganza and giving many attendees a fresh perspective on the consumer potential of this industrial hub.

A representative from Qianpai Coffee stated that they brought four different varieties of coffee beans, totaling 20 packages, all of which had sold out. Reportedly, starting from passive traditional bean trading, the brand has accumulated upstream and downstream resources over the years and now owns its own raw material bases and roasting facilities. Its business has expanded from product development to coffee salons, training programs, and certification services, establishing a fully controlled, complete value chain.
The bustling scene at the exhibition booths was merely the "frontline display" of Huangpu’s coffee prowess. Behind the excitement of the five-day event lies a complete industry chain covering cultivation, roasting, equipment manufacturing, and talent development.
During the exhibition, multiple Huangpu-based enterprises reached preliminary cooperation agreements with industry partners. Smart coffee machines from Jetinno, a Huangpu-rooted enterprise, became a focal point for many professional visitors. Its products are already exported to over 110 countries and regions worldwide. "Only after tasting the beverages made by our machines did many people realize that Huangpu boasts not just factories, but also advanced technology," an on-site staff member remarked.
From May to July, Huangpu District will roll out an even richer lineup of coffee-themed activities. During this period, the "Red Lily Coffee Valley" on Changzhou Island will offer educational tours on coffee cultivation, allowing residents to hand-pick coffee cherries and learn about the journey from seed to cup. At the Lingtou Coffee Demonstration Park, the "tea and coffee coexistence" ecological landscape is in its prime viewing season, making it an ideal destination for family outings. The Kaxiang Roasting Academy will host coffee cupping sessions for the public, while storefronts of Zhiwei Lian Coffee, KEYSTONE Coffee, and other brands will introduce limited-edition specialty drinks and themed markets.
