It’s Official! Guangzhou Huangpu Spring Festival Flower Market Opens on February 12

The 2026 Guangzhou Huangpu Spring Festival Flower Market is scheduled to open on February 12, 2026, and will run for 5 days.

As one of the 11 district-level flower markets in Guangzhou, the 2026 Huangpu Flower Market will adopt a "3+N" model, taking place simultaneously across the Haisi City (Maritime Silk Road City), Science City, and Knowledge City areas.

Additionally, various subdistricts and towns will set up "N" (multiple) fresh flower sales points. These spots are designed to keep the flower market tradition alive and boost the vibrant festive atmosphere. Through traditional flower markets, Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) folk displays, and festive cultural activities, the event aims to promote the Guangzhou Development District's pioneering spirit of "daring to be the first" and the "Iron Army" spirit of the new Huangpu. The markets will showcase cultural confidence and the people's aspiration for a better life, while meeting the needs of citizens and tourists from home and abroad to purchase flowers, admire displays, and welcome the spring with good wishes.
