2025 Huangpu Marathon: Capturing the Highlights

At 7:30 a.m. on December 28, 2025, the 2025 Huangpu Marathon officially commenced with the starting gun. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong"—the immensely popular mascots of the 15th National Games, affectionately known online as the "Greater Bay Area Chickens"—made a special appearance at the event to cheer on the athletes.

This year's race also featured a touch of romance—a special heart-themed photo carpet, 10 meters long and 2 meters wide, was placed at the 13.14 km mark for both the marathon and half-marathon routes. The distance "13.14" sounds like "a lifetime" in Chinese, adding a unique layer of ceremonial meaning to the run. It served as a testament that every step of perseverance carried profound significance.
