Consulates of 30 countries in Guangzhou visit Guangzhou Knowledge City

On April 10, the "2025 Foreign Consular Corps Understand Guangzhou and the 15th Anniversary of Guangzhou Sino-Singapore Knowledge City Series of Events" was held in Guangzhou Knowledge City.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Singapore and the 15th anniversary of the development and construction of Guangzhou Knowledge City. Representatives from 30 foreign consulates in Guangzhou participated in the event.

Over the past 15 years, Guangzhou Knowledge City has achieved fruitful results, with over 530 billion yuan ($72.56 billion) in fixed asset investment completed, establishing a modern industrial system and attracting numerous enterprises to settle in. Vision Electronics holds multiple national-level manufacturing single-item champion products, with its intelligent manufacturing base project showcasing the speed of Huangpu Development District. The construction of global headquarters and smart medical projects is also underway.

As a China-Singapore national-level bilateral cooperation project, Guangzhou Knowledge City has attracted numerous high-quality enterprises with significant achievements in benchmark projects such as the China-Singapore Smart Park. The National University of Singapore (NUS) Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute has been instrumental in promoting the transformation of research results.

Guangzhou boasts a superior investment environment and a strong industrial foundation. In the future, the knowledge city will deepen cooperation with a more open attitude and share development opportunities with countries around the world.
