Harrow School in Huangpu to boost intl education, talent exchange

On April 8, the topping-out ceremony of the teaching building for the Harrow International School Guangzhou Project for Foreign Children was held in Huangpu district, along with the signing ceremony for international education exchange and cooperation.

The school is in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City's Next-Generation Information Technology Innovation Park. Over the past decade, Guangzhou Knowledge City has attracted the four core enterprises of Singapore, connected with top-tier innovation resources, and drawn over 300 foreign-funded enterprises to settle in the area.

The establishment of Harrow School in Guangzhou Knowledge City is intended to fulfill the educational requirements of children with high-end innovative talents. This is set to contribute to the development of an international talent free port and functions as a demonstration zone for open cooperation. The school is committed to building a smart, technologically advanced international educational environment that combines Chinese and Western elements, while embodying the unique characteristics associated with Harrow.

Guangzhou Development District Caiyang Investment and Asia International School Limited (AISL) signed a framework agreement for international education exchange and cooperation. Both parties will engage in extensive exchange and learning activities in science, arts, sports, winter camps, and summer camps to jointly build a platform for civilized exchange and mutual learning.

David Eyton, chairman of the board of Harrow Public School in the UK, witnessed the signing ceremony, offering best wishes for further deepening friendship and mutual learning between Chinese and British youth.
