EHang General Aviation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EHang in Huangpu district, has recently achieved a significant milestone as its application for the Operation Certificate (OC) has been approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
This marks EHang General Aviation the world's first company with complete commercial operatior qualifications for unmanned aerial passenger eVTOL, representing a crucial milestone in China's low-altitude economy transitioning from pilot projects to commercialization.

The OC is a qualification issued by the CAAC to operators, indicating the company's capability to conduct commercial flights safely and comply with regulations.
Following the acquisition of the OC, EHang's EH216-S unmanned aerial passenger aircraft will enter commercial operation, with prospects of launching large-scale services in the second half of 2025, ushering in the era of "airborne public transportation".
EHang has now obtained the Type Certificate (TC), Airworthiness Certificate (AC), Production Certificate (PC), and Operation Certificate (OC) for its manned eVTOL product models, becoming the world's first company to achieve the "four-certificate collection".
In the future, EHang will gradually expand its commercial operation points, establishing low-altitude transportation operation centers across various regions in Guangzhou. This initiative aims to provide citizens with normalized low-altitude sightseeing, urban tours, and commercial passenger services, effectively realizing the value of the low-altitude economy.
