The Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology recently announced the list of units that planned to establish the first batch of academic workstations in 2025.
Guangzhou-based companies Cohoo Biotech Company and Kingfa Technology Company from Huangpu district were selected.
The Guangdong Provincial Academician Workstation is a technological innovation platform established by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology. It aims to organize academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and their teams to conduct technical consultations, technological breakthroughs, and new product development. It will also assist companies in solving technical problems to enhance their core competitiveness in Guangdong province.
Currently, Huangpu district already has nine provincial-level and 17 municipal-level academician workstations.
The two selected entities, Cohoo Biotech and Kingfa Technology, will play a vital role in advancing the development of the Guangdong Provincial Academician Workstations by fostering technological innovation and promoting collaboration between industry and academia. Cohoo Biotech is dedicated to the research, production, and distribution of plant-based functional feed additives, while Kingfa Technology specializes in the research, production, and sales of high-performance new materials.
In the future, the Huangpu District Association for Science and Technology will continue to advance the construction of academic workstations, optimize services, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and inject new vitality and momentum into the district's high-quality development.
