Huangpu tops Guangzhou in enterprises count on list

Recently, 46 enterprises in Guangzhou were listed in the 23rd batch of provincial enterprise technology centers, with Huangpu district having 21 enterprises, the highest number among all districts in the city.

The selected enterprises in Huangpu are mainly in the manufacturing industry, showcasing the district's strong capabilities as a manufacturing powerhouse and its innovation vitality.

Huangpu has already formed five clusters of industries worth over 100 billion yuan ($13.73 billion) and three clusters worth over 10 billion yuan, including automobile manufacturing, new displays, green energy, new materials, and beauty and health. A complete industrial chain ecological layout has been established in the biopharmaceutical industry, attracting numerous leading enterprises to settle in the district.

Huangpu is also developing in next-generation information technology, automobile manufacturing, new industries, and future industries.

With gathering innovation platforms, Guangzhou has established laboratories, the National Technology Innovation Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and other scientific and technological innovation platforms, attracting over 1,000 research institutions. The innovation entities are active, incubating numerous outstanding enterprises with high research and development investment intensity and vibrant innovation vitality.
