Huangpu selected as provincial digital pilot

Recently, Huangpu district has been selected as a county-level pilot for comprehensive urban digital transformation in Guangdong province.

In recent years, Huangpu has been advancing its urban digital transformation. Regarding digital economic development, Huangpu has implemented the province's first "East Data, West Calculation" paired cooperation, accelerating the construction of the "Huangpu No 1" smart computing cluster.

Moreover, efforts have been made to establish the Guangzhou Data Exchange (Huangpu) Service Zone, creating a data innovation center and facilitating the participation of over 120 zone members, listing more than 217 products, and achieving a cumulative transaction volume exceeding 567 million yuan ($77.34 million).

In terms of digital government construction, Huangpu has built an integrated digital government infrastructure, promoted the construction of district-level geographic information (GI) systems, drone command and dispatch platforms, enriched the digital enterprise service system, developed a trial version of the Huangpu Government Big Model Intelligent Q&A System, and enhanced the efficiency of government digital duties.

Regarding data element development, Huangpu has fully implemented the Chief Data Officer system, released many open data sets, launched industry-specific data products, and unlocked the value of public data.

Simultaneously, Huangpu has been developing the "Data Insight Huangpu" platform to showcase government governance data and support governmental decision-making.

Looking ahead, Huangpu is poised to continue its efforts, using urban digital transformation as a driving force to promote high-quality regional development.
