Business landmarks expand in Huangpu

The commercial landmarks in Huangpu district are again expanding, with a series of heavyweight commercial projects set to make their mark.

Guangzhou Science City is set to welcome the signing of an InterContinental Hotel, which will become a new landmark for business and leisure in Guangzhou. With an investment plan of around 400 million yuan ($56.53 million), the hotel will feature 300 rooms and high-end leisure facilities, catering to business, leisure, and social needs, becoming a central part of the science city.

In the future, Guangzhou Science City Group and InterContinental Hotels Group will collaborate in various areas to ignite the commercial vitality of Huangpu. As a globally leading hotel management group, InterContinental Hotels Group already has 715 operating hotels and 537 hotels under development in China.

Furthermore, progress has been made on the Knowledge City Plaza Hotel, with the main structure topping out. With a total investment of around 9.1 billion yuan, it is about to become a comprehensive industrial park integrating intellectual property services, high-end business facilities, and cultural exhibitions.

Simultaneously, the Knowledge City Super Neighborhood Center is also under construction, with a total floor area of approximately 300,000 square meters and a total investment of nearly 3.7 billion yuan. It must become a flagship cultural, sports, and commercial complex, including professional sports venues, a commercial street, hotel-style apartments, and high-end business office buildings.

The smooth progress of these projects would bring a more diverse and enriching living experience to the residents of Huangpu district.
