Huangpu integrates into national computing power network

On May 27, Huangpu district signed a memorandum of cooperation on integrated computing power construction with Qingyang city, Ordos High-tech Zone, and Karamay Cloud Computing Industrial Park.

This marks the first "Eastern data, Western computation" pairing in Guangdong. The event introduced the latest progress in the "Eastern data, Western computation" project and the construction of the national integrated computing power network.

The "Eastern data, Western computation" project is a game-changer for the region. It involves the creation of a new integrated computing network system that combines data centers, cloud computing, and big data. This system will transmit some data from the eastern region to China's western region for computation and processing, optimizing the data center layout and fostering coordinated development between the two regions.

Huangpu district, as the main battlefield of Guangzhou's real economy and the main engine of technological innovation, has a solid industrial foundation and significant demand for intelligent computing power.

It will cooperate with Western cities to establish cross-regional computing resource scheduling mechanisms and comprehensive interactive computing power scheduling systems, providing enterprises and institutions with more inclusive, green, and high-quality computing resources.
