Guangzhou Aviation Tire Grand Scientific Center reaches full completion

The Guangzhou Aviation Tire Grand Scientific Center project has made significant progress in Huangpu district.

As the world's second, and China's first, aviation tire research and innovation base, this project will achieve independent and controllable key technologies for aviation tires in China, addressing bottlenecks in the sector.

Located east of Yonglong Avenue and south of Huadu-Dongguan Expressway, the project revolves around aviation tire dynamics grand scientific apparatus, complemented by the construction of an aviation tire exhibition center and a technology center.

The core of the project is a grand scientific apparatus center featuring two massive tire-shaped structures, acclaimed as the largest such structures on the planet. With support from the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Class C leading special project, it aims to achieve breakthroughs in fundamental materials and theories to achieve independent and controllable key technologies for aviation tires in China.

The second phase of the Aviation Tire Grand Scientific Center project has now completed the full structure topping-out and is in the interior decoration phase.

With a total construction area of 180,000 square meters, the second phase is positioned as a hub to commercialize achievements from the Aviation Tire Grand Scientific Research Center, aiming to create a scientific center integrating research, production, and accommodation.
