Discover Changzhou island in Huangpu

Adjacent, the newly opened Whampoa Military Academy-themed street offers military cultural experiences and authentic cuisine, including the renowned Shenjing Roast Goose.

Baihegang battery, a historic landmark built in 1884, in the island has now become a protected heritage site. Perched strategically, this battery boasts a rigorous layout and Western architectural style.

Then visitors can stroll through Zhongshan Park, with its impressive bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen overlooking a serene lake and Bailu island, a paradise for birds.

Experience Shenjing wharf, a vital link between Huangpu district and Haizhu district since 1986, and explore the nearby Beidi temple, exuding an ancient, tranquil atmosphere.
