Huangpu hosts key pharma economic forum

The 35th Pharmaceutical Economic Information Conference was held in the Huangpu district of Guangzhou from Jan 10 to 12.

The conference focused on developing the biopharmaceutical industry and attracted participation from over 400 pharmaceutical companies. Key discussion topics included medicine review and approval processes, policy innovation, and the Hong Kong-Macao medical device policy.

Huangpu showcased its achievements in developing the biopharmaceutical industry, setting a goal to gather over 5,000 biopharmaceutical companies by 2025. The Guangzhou International Bio Island, serving as the core venue for this conference, is regarded as a testing ground for national policy innovation in biopharmaceuticals, highlighting Huangpu's leading position in the field.
