Huangpu's Southern Lion Dance Invitational a roaring success

On Nov 25, the traditional Southern Lion Dance Invitational came to a close at Caomao Square in Guangzhou's Huangpu district. The event was aimed at showcasing rural vitalization achievements while also promoting lion dance culture.

The competition gathered elite lion dance teams from various districts of Guangzhou. The spectacular performances not only demonstrated the athletes' skills but also entertained the audience.

Besides the dance performances, the event displayed creative lion dance-themed cultural products.

Near the event site, Jingxia village also displayed its charming autumn scenery. Spectators had the opportunity to explore this picturesque rural area, picking fruit and enjoying the pleasures of a pastoral lifestyle.
