Huangpu hosts Tsinghua alumni tech innovation conference

On Nov 19, the Tsinghua Alumni Science and Technology Innovation Development Conference was held in Huangpu district, Guangzhou.

It brought together over 600 leaders and experts from the technology sector. 

This conference focused on discussions around information technology, integrated circuits, and biomedicine. It aims to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the Greater Bay Area.

The conference featured keynote speeches by several experts, along with roundtable discussions that explored the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial development. 

Additionally, the collaborative achievements between Huangpu and Tsinghua University were highlighted at the event, including the successful establishment of projects such as the Research Institute of Tsinghua, located in the Pearl River Delta. Such achievements strengthen industry-academia-research cooperation.

The conference also marked the launch of the "Huangpu Bauhinia Entrepreneurship Investment Fund," which supports entrepreneurship among Tsinghua alumni and fosters the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in the Greater Bay Area.
