Dajisha Island becomes model for agricultural innovation

As temperatures continue to plummet, Dajisha Island in Guangzhou's Huangpu district welcomes a bountiful harvest, thanks to its position as a testing ground for modern agricultural development.

The island's once-abandoned farmlands have been transformed into a well-known agricultural park in Guangzhou.

The transformation of Dajisha Island is attributed to Huangpu district's plan which involved comprehensive land rehabilitation and agricultural land transfer. The island's smart farms utilize unmanned agricultural machinery, achieving complete automation in the plowing, planting, managing, and harvesting processes.

 In 2023, Dajisha introduced and cultivated over 150 rice varieties, evolving into a modern agricultural experimental area. 

The story of this river island demonstrates Huangpu's achievements in agricultural innovation and rural revitalization. It reflects Guangdong's strong commitment to pursuing high-quality agricultural products.
