Hong Kong, Macao youth find success in Huangpu

As the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area steadily advances into a new era of high-quality development, Guangzhou's Huangpu district becomes a magnet for ambitious young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macao.

At this year's youth exchange conference between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, participants from Hong Kong and Macao shared their entrepreneurial journeys in Huangpu. Some have achieved significant milestones, such as earning their first 1 million yuan ($150,000 million), and are even eyeing expansion into the Hong Kong market.

One young entrepreneur from Hong Kong relocated his business to Guangzhou Science City in 2017 and found success in the virtual reality (VR) sector. Six years of perseverance not only accumulated wealth but also allowed him to penetrate the Hong Kong market. Another young entrepreneur from Macao, inspired by Huangpu's supportive innovation and entrepreneurial environment, decided to settle and build his career here.

As one of the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao technology enterprise incubators, Huangpu offers quality services and an excellent environment for young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. 

Huangpu has implemented measures to support innovation and entrepreneurship among young people from Hong Kong and Macao, addressing real-life challenges in employment and entrepreneurship, and creating opportunities for growth in the district.
