Construction begins on Shabu's 'green core' transformation

The Shabu community renovation project on Nangang Street in Guangzhou's Huangpu district has been initiated, with a total investment exceeding 26 billion yuan ($4 billion), aiming to create a "green core" in the eastern part of Guangzhou. 

Drawing inspiration from Singapore's design, the project integrates residential, commercial, office, and industrial functions that will improve the living conditions and urban appearance of residents. 

The district is also constructing public support facilities in advance, including the cultural museum and Bigfoot Park, which are already in use.

The project also focuses on exploring regional culture and improving educational facilities to maintain a healthy growth trend in the district's collective economy.
