Huangpu district releases new project to promote high-quality development

Guangzhou's Huangpu district recently unveiled its '100 Counties, 1,000 Towns, 1,000 Villages' project implementation plan, which is set to facilitate coordinated urban-rural regional development as well as promote high-quality development. 

According to the plan, Huangpu will focus on achieving high-quality and coordinated urban-rural development by focusing on four stages. This includes achieving the smooth operation of its regional command system by 2023, gradually narrowing the urban-rural development gap by 2025, achieving basic modernization of agriculture and rural areas by 2027, and realizing rural vitalization by 2035. 

To ensure the progress of the project, Huangpu district has established a three-tier command system as well as six specialized teams.
